The Story Behind Hermey
Kevin Cordeiro began writing children’s stories as a way to explore the gentle, meaningful moments that shape childhood—those quiet spaces where feelings grow, lessons are learned, and kindness matters most. Inspired by life on a New England farm and a very real alpaca named Hermey, Kevin creates stories that help young readers navigate emotions, build confidence, and discover the power of empathy.
